Business ops & automation
When a company runs on the memory of three people and a folder nobody can navigate, growth stops being a strategy problem. We design the operating system underneath — processes, ownership, data, tools and cadence — then build it and hand it over working.
It just isn't written down. It lives in the heads of whoever has been there longest, in a few hundred documents that made sense when there were twelve of them, and in the meeting where everyone finds out what everyone else decided.
That works until it doesn't — usually the week you hire, launch or scale. We make the invisible system visible, cut what shouldn't exist, automate what shouldn't need a person, and give the rest an owner and a cadence.
What we do for you
How work actually moves today, where it stalls, and what each stall costs in hours and handoffs.
Attio, Notion, Airtable — structured around how you work, not around a template someone downloaded.
One place where work lives, one place where decisions live, and a rule for which is which.
Written so a new hire can run the process on their second day without asking anyone.
The cross-functional seams where work goes to die, made explicit and given an owner.
The numbers your team needs to see, updating themselves, in the tool they already have open.
A review rhythm that produces decisions instead of status updates.
The systems talking to each other so data stops being re-typed and reports stop being rebuilt.
Agents that gather information, update records, coordinate tasks, produce outputs and escalate the exceptions.
How we work
We map how work moves today, where it stalls, and what each stall costs you in time and money.
We redesign the processes, the data model and the tool architecture, and decide what gets automated.
We configure the workspaces, wire the integrations, and put the automations and agents into production.
We document it, train your team, and leave an improvement roadmap ranked by payback.
Ops & automation questions
Usually it's the opposite. Structure is cheap to build at fifteen people and brutally expensive to retrofit at fifty. Small teams get the biggest return because there's less to undo.
Less than you'd expect. Most of the work happens alongside business as usual — interviews, design, configuration — and changes land in stages, each one documented and trained before the next starts.
Rarely. Most stacks are mostly fine and the real problem is how they're wired and who owns what. We only propose replacing something when the cost of keeping it is clear and countable.
It will, and that's designed for. You get the documentation, the automations and the governance rules in your own workspace, so your team can change them without calling us.
Rules-bound work: pulling information together, updating records, coordinating tasks between tools, generating routine outputs and flagging anything that doesn't fit. Every action is logged, and exceptions go to a person.
Tell us where you're stuck. If we're a fit, we'll say so fast — and if we're not, we'll say that too.
